AT&T Alaska Telecommunications Relay Service

Telecommunications Relay Service (TRS) provides translation assistance between persons with hearing and/or speech disabilities who use a Text Telephone (TT) or its equivalent, and hearing persons who use an ordinary telephone. A TRS Communications Assistant will place a call to the telephone number specified by the party originating the TRS call. When the two parties are connected, the TRS Communications Assistant will relay messages between the respective parties in the appropriate voice or text format.
