AT&T International Satellite Direct Service provides for the transmission of digital signals at transmission speeds ranging from 56 kbps to 45 Mbps from an AT&T Central Office (i.e., Shared Earth Station) in the Mainland for service with a Customer-provided earth station in a foreign country or off-shore location. Service is furnished on a full-time basis for either one-way transmission (half-duplex operation) or two-way simultaneous transmission (full-duplex operation).
